Everyone on our team is here to be your champion. Our friendliness is contagious, our energy is inspiring, and while our workouts are tough, we’ll keep you motivated and feeling good the whole time. Our mission is to deliver a flawless Lagree experience that you can’t help but return to again and again.
Founder and Instructor
Sarah is a passionate entrepreneur with a mission to introduce new communities to the power of Lagree. She founded Tallie, Scotland’s first and only Lagree studio, after falling in love with the method during her time teaching in London. She loves the way Lagree can build strong communities and fortify both body and mind.

She began her fitness journey as a Pilates instructor and holds certifications as a STOTT Pilates Reformer Trainer, a 200-hour Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga Teacher, and is a certified Level 1 and Level 2 Lagree fitness instructor.
Favourite move on the Miniformer
A glutes girl at heart, Sarah’s favourite move has to be a Mega Donkey Kick. It not only works the glutes, but your core and shoulders will be on fire too! For core, it has to be a Giant Reverse Dancing Bear, a true burner for the obliques and heart-rate pumper.

Instructor
Sara’s movement journey began with dance at a young age, fostering a deep connection to strength and control. Qualified as a Dietitian specializing in sports nutrition, Sara has certifications in both mat and reformer Pilates, which she developed during her university years. After discovering Lagree in Canada, she was hooked and is excited to share this intense, rewarding workout with her clients.
Favourite move
Sara loves the Elevator Curtsy Lunge for its outer-glute burn and balance challenge. For core, she swears by the classic Plank to Pike for a deep abdominal burn that leaves no muscle untouched.
Instructor
Dr. Julie Jacko is a Chaired Professor of Health Informatics and Data Science and the Dean of Innovation and Engagement at the University of Edinburgh’s College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine. A former Miami Barre studio owner, Julie holds certifications in Barre, Classical Pilates, and Lagree Fitness. When not immersed in academia, she teaches Classical Pilates and Lagree, bringing her wealth of expertise to Tallie as one of its most experienced instructors.
Favourite move
Julie loves incorporating Standing Inner Thighs into her classes for a deep inner-thigh burn, pelvic floor engagement, and a heart-rate boost.
Instructor
Grace began her movement journey in her native Australia, earning a Pilates qualification before joining the renowned KX Pilates brand. Now in Edinburgh, she has over four years of experience as a reformer instructor and has taught more than 3,000 classes. Grace’s sessions are high-energy and fiery, guaranteed to make you sweat while helping you achieve that signature Lagree burn. She loves connecting with clients and sharing her passion for Lagree Fitness.
Favourite move
Grace is a fan of side-lying exercises, especially a Side-Lying Leg Press for layering intensity. For core, her top pick is a Twisted Plank to Pike to build endurance and deep abdominal strength.
Instructor
Originally from the southeastern U.S., Laila began her fitness career with a Yoga Sculpt certification at CorePower Yoga. She later added certifications in Barre, Reformer Pilates, and Lagree, teaching in Boston for four years before moving to Edinburgh in 2022. Fitness became a way for Laila to build community, and she continues to bring that sense of connection to her classes. Known for her thoughtful sequencing and energizing playlists, Laila is passionate about helping clients enjoy every minute of their workout.
Favourite move
A glute-focused pro, Laila loves a Side-Lying Leg Press or a Plank to Pike for that unbeatable core burn.
Instructor
Jenna launched her movement career in London over six years ago, training classically in mat Pilates and earning her STOTT certifications in reformer Pilates and barre. Well-known across Edinburgh for her signature sculpt classes, Jenna is thrilled to bring her signature energy and intensity to Lagree. She believes movement is for everybody and every body, striving to help clients become their best selves—inside and out!
Favourite move
Jenna believes in the power of simplicity—her go-to is a classic Plank to Pike, especially on the elbows for an extra core challenge.
