Everyone on our team is here to be your champion. Our friendliness is contagious, our energy is inspiring, and while our workouts are tough, we’ll keep you motivated and feeling good the whole time. Our mission is to deliver a flawless Lagree experience that you can’t help but return to again and again.
Founder and Instructor
Sarah is a passionate entrepreneur with a mission to introduce new communities to the power of Lagree. She founded Tallie, Scotland’s first and only Lagree studio, after falling in love with the method during her time teaching in London. She loves the way Lagree can build strong communities and fortify both body and mind.

She began her fitness journey as a Pilates instructor and holds certifications as a STOTT Pilates Reformer Trainer, a 200-hour Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga Teacher, and is a certified Level 1 and Level 2 Lagree fitness instructor.
Favourite move on the Miniformer
At her core, Sarah keeps it simple — but effective. Her go-to lower body move? The Escalator Lunge. It lights up the glutes, quads, and hamstrings, while pushing your balance to the edge. For core, it’s all about the Catfish — a sneaky little scorcher that targets the lower abs and challenges the upper body too.

Instructor
Sara’s movement journey began with dance at a young age, fostering a deep connection to strength and control. Qualified as a Dietitian specializing in sports nutrition, Sara has certifications in both mat and reformer Pilates, which she developed during her university years. After discovering Lagree in Canada, she was hooked and is excited to share this intense, rewarding workout with her clients.
Favourite move
Sara loves the Elevator Curtsy Lunge for its outer-glute burn and balance challenge. For core, she swears by the classic Plank to Pike for a deep abdominal burn that leaves no muscle untouched.
Instructor
Dr. Julie Jacko is a Chaired Professor of Health Informatics and Data Science and Dean of Innovation and Engagement at the University of Edinburgh’s College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine. A former Miami Barre studio owner, she’s certified in Barre, Classical Pilates, and Lagree Fitness. Outside academia, she teaches Pilates and Lagree, bringing a wealth of expertise to Tallie as one of its most experienced instructors.

Julie loves incorporating Standing Inner Thighs into her classes for a deep inner-thigh burn, pelvic floor engagement, and a heart-rate boost.
Instructor
A committed and inclusive movement practitioner, Grace is excited for the challenge Lagree brings to the Edinburgh wellness scene. Grace's teaching style will encourage you to go deeper and push yourself, whilst always keeping a smile on your face! With an anatomy-based and accessible approach, Grace wants each prospective Lagree student to know that they are welcome here at Tallie.
Favourite move
Grace is an upper body girl through and through, and her top pick? A kneeling shoulder raise–chest press combo. It’s all about that deep, satisfying burn when both moves hit at once.
Instructor
Originally from the southeastern U.S., Laila began her fitness career with a Yoga Sculpt certification at CorePower Yoga. She later added certifications in Barre, Reformer Pilates, and Lagree, teaching in Boston for four years before moving to Edinburgh in 2022. Fitness became a way for Laila to build community, and she continues to bring that sense of connection to her classes. Known for her thoughtful sequencing and energizing playlists, Laila is passionate about helping clients enjoy every minute of their workout.

A glute-focused pro, Laila loves a Side-Lying Leg Press or a Plank to Pike for that unbeatable core burn.
Instructor
With a lifelong dedication to fitness, Niki brings a deep understanding of movement, strength, and endurance to every class. Combining her background in naturopathic nutrition with her passion for high-intensity, low-impact training, she is committed to helping clients push past their limits while maintaining a strong mind-body connection. Now, as part of the team at Tallie, Niki is excited to challenge and support clients on their journey to greater strength, resilience, and overall wellbeing - one shake at a time.
Favourite move
A true lover of the mind-muscle connection, Niki’s move of choice is the giant single-leg squat — a Lagree powerhouse that fires up strength, balance, flexibility, and control all at once.
Instructor
As a strong believer in the power of movement for both physical and mental health, Meg brings her decade-long passion for Lagree’s intensity and slow, controlled movement to her teaching. Having originally trained in her home city of Toronto, Meg also taught at Studio Lagree in London, where she was known for her welcoming yet challenging classes. Meg is thrilled to be spreading the Lagree love again at Tallie and aims to foster an environment where you can push yourself and have fun in the process!
Favourite move
A true fan of the shakes, Meghan’s go-to move is giant kneeling inner thighs — whether she’s leading the class or taking it. The burn hits every time, and no matter how strong you get, it never gets easier.
Instructor
Jenna launched her movement career in London over six years ago, training classically in mat Pilates and earning her STOTT certifications in reformer Pilates and barre. Well-known across Edinburgh for her signature sculpt classes, Jenna is thrilled to bring her signature energy and intensity to Lagree. She believes movement is for everybody and every body, striving to help clients become their best selves—inside and out!

Jenna believes in the power of simplicity—her go-to is a classic Plank to Pike, especially on the elbows for an extra core challenge.
