Our mission is to deliver a flawless Lagree experience that you can’t help but return to again and again.
Founder and Lagree Master Trainer
Sarah is a passionate entrepreneur dedicated to bringing the transformative power of Lagree to new communities. She founded Tallie, Scotland's most loved and Edinburgh's only Lagree studio, after falling in love with the method while teaching in London. Sarah is also a Level 3 Lagree Master Trainer and the first person in the UK to have been awarded this title.

Sarah is passionate about the unique way Lagree strengthens both body and mind while fostering strong, supportive connections. Her fitness journey began as a Pilates instructor, and she holds certifications in both Pilates and Yoga. Today, Sarah instructs at Tallie and travels worldwide to lead official Lagree certifications and provide studio consulting.
Favourite move on the Miniformer
At her core, Sarah keeps it simple and effective. Her go-to lower body move is the Floor Lunge, which fires up the glutes, hamstrings, and core while pushing the body to its limits. For core work, she loves the Wheelbarrow — a challenging burner that targets the abs and engages the upper body to have you shaking in no time.

Instructor
With over a decade of experience in the fitness industry and a background in Physiotherapy, Otto brings uplifting energy and intentional coaching to every class. He was drawn to Lagree for it's evidence-based foundation and the way it builds strength, control and body awareness. Expect playful encouragement, mindful movement, supporting coaching, great music and a functional burn that leaves you feeling empowered, connected and strong.
Favourite move
Otto loves a bungee kick, feeling it hits the glutes like no other Lagree exercise.
Instructor
Catrin is a fitness instructor originally from New Zealand and has been based in the UK for the past 3 years. A qualified Pilates instructor, she found Lagree when Tallie first opened in Edinburgh and was immediately hooked. She loves the high intensity but low-impact method and the strong focus on controlled movement. Join her classes for some serious shakes and vibey playlists.
Favourite move
Catrin loves the Nighthawk for the deep oblique burn it delivers, making it one of her favourite ways to target the side body. You can expect her to regularly incorporate this move into her classes to challenge core strength and stability.
Instructor
By day, Fran is a Biology teacher with a lifelong love of movement. With roots in ballet, hockey, and ice skating, she brings strength, balance, and creativity to every class. Expect supportive yet challenging sessions with spicy lower-body sequences that fire up the glutes, hamstrings, and quads and build confidence through Lagree’s signature intensity and control.

A glute-focused lover, Fran loves a Side-Lying Leg Press or a Plank to Pike for that unbeatable core burn.
Instructor
Dr. Julie Jacko is a Chaired Professor of Health Informatics and Data Science and Dean of Innovation and Engagement at the University of Edinburgh’s College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine. A former Miami Barre studio owner, she’s certified in Barre, Classical Pilates, and Lagree Fitness. Outside academia, she teaches Pilates and Lagree, bringing a wealth of expertise to Tallie as one of its most experienced instructors and our only Elevate instructor.

Julie loves incorporating Standing Inner Thighs into her classes for a deep inner-thigh burn, pelvic floor engagement, and a heart-rate boost.

Melanie is a yoga teacher, mobility specialist, and passionate Lagree enthusiast. She is dedicated to uplifting others and creating a supportive, positive space where people can reach their full potential. Lagree is her perfect outlet—helping clients leave class feeling stronger, more confident, and energised. She keeps every session fresh, challenging, and rewarding. See will see you on the machine!

Melanie loves a back lunge because of the way it targets her glutes and has her legs shaking every. single. time.

A committed and inclusive movement practitioner, Grace loves the challenge Lagree brings to the Edinburgh wellness scene. Grace's teaching style will encourage you to go deeper and push yourself, whilst always keeping a smile on your face! With an anatomy-based and accessible approach, Grace wants each prospective Lagree student to know that they are welcome here at Tallie.

Grace is an upper body girl through and through, and her top pick? A kneeling shoulder raise–chest press combo. It’s all about that deep, satisfying burn when both moves hit at once.

Chloe discovered Lagree the moment Tallie opened — and it was love at first shake. She is thrilled to share her passion for Lagree with others, and her goal is simple: to make sure every client leaves class feeling stronger than when they walked in — shaky legs and all. She brings a fun, uplifting energy to every session, always paired with a groovy playlist to keep you moving and embracing the burn.

Core-obsessed Chloe is all about the bear—it’s endlessly versatile, and every variation sets your core on fire.

A lifelong competitor with a love for physical and mental challenges, she’s pushed her limits with multi-day marathon races and competitive sports. When Lagree first came to Edinburgh it was love at first pulse. Nothing compares to the burn, focus, and total-body challenge of a Lagree class. Expect to be challenged, empowered, and reminded just how strong you really are.

Sarah loves heavy lower body moves like Runner's Lunge. It fires up the glutes, quads, and hamstrings while testing both strength and stamina—simple, effective, and guaranteed to leave your legs feeling worked.
Instructor
As a strong believer in the power of movement for both physical and mental health, Meg brings her decade-long passion for Lagree’s intensity and slow, controlled movement to her teaching. With a wealth of Lagree experience, Meg originally trained in her home city of Toronto and has also taught at Studio Lagree in London, where she was known for her welcoming yet challenging classes. Meg loves spreading the Lagree love again at Tallie and fosters a welcoming environment where you can push yourself and have fun in the process!

A true fan of the shakes, Meghan’s go-to move is giant kneeling inner thighs — whether she’s leading the class or taking it. The burn hits every time, and no matter how strong you get, it never gets easier.

With a strong foundation of over a decade of ballet and dance training, Molly brings a passion for movement and precision to every Lagree class. Her sessions are built around intentional and thoughtful sequencing, coupled with a fun playlist to keep you moving with purpose. She champions showing up, embracing the shakes, and celebrating every small win along the way. Expect a warm and uplifting energy in Molly’s classes at Tallie, as she helps you meet the intensity of challenging routines with calm confidence and clarity. Molly’s go-to move is the single-leg squat. It challenges strength, balance, and control, and there are countless ways to mix it up. For core, she’s picking a plank to pike—a full-body burner guaranteed to bring the shakes before class is done.
Instructor
Jenna launched her movement career in London over six years ago, training classically in mat Pilates and earning her STOTT certifications in reformer Pilates and barre. Well-known across Edinburgh for her signature sculpt classes, Jenna is thrilled to bring her signature energy and intensity to Lagree. She believes movement is for everybody and every body, striving to help clients become their best selves—inside and out!

Jenna believes in the power of simplicity—her go-to is a classic Plank to Pike, especially on the elbows for an extra core challenge.
