Lagree. La-what?
Lagree, named after creator Sebastian Lagree, is a muscular endurance workout performed on a specialised machine. The method gained popular status in Hollywood as a time-efficient workout with long-lasting, noticeable results. As Edinburgh’s first and only Lagree studio, we are committed to delivering an unparalleled experience that’ll make you love this method as much as we do!
Meet the Miniformer
All classes at Tallie are taught on a specialised Lagree machine called the Miniformer Pro, which has a moving bed, cables, and handles. The machine works to create tension for the perfect balance of core, endurance, balance, strength, and flexibility training. It’s a great all-around workout that keeps stress off the spine, joints, and connective tissue, making it highly accessible.
On the Count of Four
The Lagree Method is founded on key bodybuilding principles such as Time Under Tension. All exercises are done to a slow, steady tempo of between four and eight counts. This keeps the heart rate elevated and eliminates the use of momentum for maximum strength building. Every class will leave you shaking, sweating, and craving more.
